Reading: Students will practice reading, pronunciation, and comprehension while building their Spanish vocabulary.
Writing: Students will learn how to write letters, emails, essays, and more using Spanish grammar and vocabulary.
Communicating: Students will practice listening, speaking, and pronunciation in order to make conversation.
Culture: Students will apply all of the above skills as they learn about various Spanish speaking countries and their traditions/lifestyles.

Spanish is the 2nd most spoken language in the United States, making it a core subject in many schools & a desirable skill on resumes. Learning Spanish will introduce you to a rich culture and open up many opportunities for success.
Spanish 1 is the introduction to Spanish. Student is not expected to communicate in Spanish at this level.

Spanish 2 builds on concepts learned in Spanish 1. Student is expected to be able to make small talk in Spanish and ask important questions.

Spanish 3 is full of new grammar concepts. Student should be able to make conversation with anyone.

Spanish 4
Spanish 4 is the last level of Spanish required to receive the biliteracy seal. Spanish 4 uses what you have learned in all your past Spanish classes and challenges students to make complex conversations, write essays and more.
